Tone Customization

The Tone Customization feature allows you to tailor translations, explanations, and other outputs to specific emotional tones or levels of formality. This ensures the results align with your audience's expectations or the desired context.

How to Configure Tone

To customize the tone of your actions:

  • Click the "Manage Context" button to navigate to the context settings.
  • Select the "Create Context" option to define a new tone-specific context.
  • In the category list, choose:
    • Emotional Tone: For contexts like friendly, formal, casual, or professional.
    • Formality Level: To adjust the degree of formality (e.g., formal, semi-formal, informal).
  • Save the context once it’s configured.

Applying a Tone Context

Once a context is created, you can apply it to tailor your results:

  • Input: Apply the context to the input text before performing an action (e.g., translation or explanation).
  • Output: If the input action is already processed, you can apply the context to refine the output.

Applying the correct tone ensures the result aligns with the desired emotional or formal level. For example:

  • A formal tone for business communication.
  • A friendly and casual tone for personal messages.

Best Practices

  • Experiment with different tone contexts to find the most suitable option for your specific audience.
  • Combine tone customization with other context categories, such as professional or target audience settings, for richer outputs.
  • Review and refine your contexts regularly to ensure they meet your evolving needs.

Key Benefits

  • Enables precise control over the emotional tone or formality of outputs.
  • Ensures better engagement by tailoring content to your audience's preferences.
  • Works seamlessly with translation, explanation, summarization, and other actions.
