Saving Preferences

The Saving Preferences feature helps you keep track of text modifications by storing multiple stages of your changes. With the "Save" button, you can save the last 1000 modifications, ensuring you never lose important edits.

How to Use the Save Button

To save your text modifications:

  • Click the "Save" button located in the toolbar to store your current text state.
  • You can save up to 1000 changes. Older saved stages will be overwritten as you continue saving new modifications.

Automatic Saving

To enable automatic saving:

  • Click the gear icon () next to the "Save" button to open the settings modal.
  • In the modal, set the "Automatically save text every X seconds" option. The minimum interval is 10 seconds.
  • Once enabled, your text will be saved periodically, reducing the risk of losing changes due to internet disruptions or page reloads.

Combining Save with Undo/Redo

The "Save" button works seamlessly with the Undo and Redo buttons, allowing you to navigate between different modifications. Use this combination to:

  • Restore a previous version of your text using the Undo button.
  • Redo changes if you've accidentally reverted a modification.
